One woman killed, six others injured kerosene depot fire

Surat, June 14 (UNI) One woman was killed and six others were injured in a fire at a kerosene depot in the city this morning, district fire brigade officials said.

According to fire brigade officials, the fire occurred in a kerosene depot in Pandesara here, due to a short circuit in the electric wiring and spread immediately killing one woman and injuring six others.

Fire brigade officials rushed to the spot and immediately brought the flames under control. Some fire brigade officials also sustained injuries while dousing the fire, sources added.
