Zohra Begum Sheikh alias Chaman (33), the prime mover behind handling and disposing of all assets and wealth accumulated from drug trafficking by Sharafat, was taken into custody yesterday, DCP (Crime) Tajendra Luthra told mediapersons.
''She was moving in a four-wheeler in Chanakyapuri area when she was arrested.'' Twenty-two properties, both moveable and immoveable, worth nearly ten crores have so far been seized from the possession of Zohra, who was Sharafat's second wife and married to him in 1996, he said.

''She would keep shuffling between Delhi, Mumbai and Srinagar where she held several bank accounts. Presently she was in the process of disposing of all moveable assets to escape seizure by the police.''
