Truck operators halt truck services against fuel hike
Rajkot, June 13 (UNI) Hundreds of trucks were off the roads today as truck operators in the city shut downs their transport offices as part of a nationwide one-day strike against the fuel price hike.
According to the spokesman of the truck operators, nearly 200 transport offices in the city struck their works in protest against the price hike of diesel and petrol by the central government recently.
Thousands of trucks were piled up at the marketing yard, on the outskirts of the Rajkot city.
The strike was total, the spokesman claimed.
