Police arrest Govt employee on charges of graft

New Delhi, June 13 (UNI) The Delhi police has arrested a government employee from East Delhi's Seemapuri area for demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 500.

Satya Prakash, working as a clerk in the office of the Government Boys Senior Secondary School, Seemapuri, was arrested yesterday.

Police said the accused had demanded Rs 500 as illegal gratification from the complainant for passing a bill and releasing the payment.
