Killing of Nepali labourers attempt to derail peace process, PDP
Srinagar, June 13 (UNI) Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), a partner in the coalition government said the killing of Nepali labourers in south Kashmir was an attempt to derail the peace process initiated by India, Pakistan and the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
Strongly condemening the killings of innocent labourers in Kulgam areas last evening a spokesman of the PDP said the killing of innocent labourers was an inhuman act by the frustrated elements who are inimical to peace.
He said these elements cannot be friends of Kashmiris as they do not want peace and normalcy in the state.
The spokesman has appealed to people of the state in general and the political parties in particular to extend a helping hand to uphold the sanctity of communal amity and brotherhood.
He said all the political parties need to rise on the occasion and isolate such elements and fight unitedly against them.
The spokesman said all of us should realize that any misadventure by any political party at this crucial juncture could reverse the gains achieved during the past four years.
