Guj court asks police to probe complaint against Reliance

Ahmedabad, June 13 (UNI) A local court today asked the police to probe into a case of alleged cheating and breach of trust filed by an ex-serviceman against Reliance Petromarketing Pvt Ltd.

Justice A Y Dave asked the police to investigate the case filed by one Captain David, after the company allegedly withdrew a petrol pump allotted to him near Dholka town and refused to return his deposit money of Rs 5 lakh.

He has named Reliance Chairman Mukesh Ambani and Hital Meswani among several others as party to his complaint.

Meanwhile, Reliance Industries has issued a statement saying that Capt David had himself quit and had been given Rs 2,52,919 towards all settlement of his account.

He had joined Mr Ambani and Mr Meswani in his complaint with a malafide intention, the release added.
