AVTAR to recruit women for part-time jobs

Chennai, Jun 13 : AVTAR Career Creators, a city based personnel consulting agency offering services in the arena of HR consulting, recruitment solutions and executive search, has been obtaining mandates from companies for recruiting women professionals for part-time jobs.

In a press release here today, Chief of Client Services K Umasanker said they were currently handling a project to hire over 100 women employees for a large multinational organization based in Chennai. The women candidates require no specification barring proficiency in English and the right attitude to fit into the dynamic workplace of today, he said.

He said they had been meeting job hunting women without experience in any industry. With right orientation, they would be able to become great performers in Banking, BPO, Recruitment Consulting etc, he added.

Claiming that it was the first recruitment firm in India to be awarded the ISO 9001:2000 certification by AQSR, he said it offered recruitment services to companies in the verticals of FMCG, Banking, Telecom and ITES.

Quoting Ms Saundarya Rajesh, CEO of the company, he said a hiatus in a woman's career is no longer a damper for hiring corporates.
