18 year-old gang-raped in Najafgarh in Delhi

New Delhi, June 13 (UNI) An 18-year old woman hailing from Paprawat was abducted and allegedly gangraped in Najafgarh area of South-west Delhi this afternoon.

However, in a swift move police arrested all the five accused which included a handicapped person, according to sources.

The woman, who was recently married, was going home when she was picked up by the miscreants in a Maruti car and taken to a nearby field and gangraped at around 1400 hrs.

Meanwhile, hearing the cries of the woman, a passerby informed the PCR which rushed to the spot. Seeing the PCR, the accused ran but were chased and arrested.

A case has been registered at Najafgarh police station.

Inquiry revealed that the accused and the victim hail from the same village, Paprawat under Najafgarh Police Station.

The accused has been identified as Jai Prakash , Vinod, Surendra, Sonu and Vijenber alias Kala, who is handicapped.
