Sweden keeper Isaksson set to return v Paraguay
BREMEN, Germany, June 12 (Reuters) Sweden's first-choice goalkeeper Andreas Isaksson is poised to return for Thursday's World Cup Group B match with Paraguay in Berlin, said coach Lars Lagerback.
Isaksson missed the 0-0 draw with Trinidad&Tobago on Saturday after hitting his head on the ground in training last week.
''At the moment he looks OK and we hope he will be fit,'' Lagerback told Reuters today.
Isaksson did not seem to suffer any ill-effects from a full work-out today which included a practice match in front of around 1,000 Swedish fans at the home of Werder Bremen.
Sweden were further boosted by the news midfielder Freddie Ljungberg had no injury worries, despite a swollen knee picked up in a clash with team mate Henrik Larsson against Trinidad.
''Henrik ran in to me and got me right on the bone but there is no damage inside. Just swelling on the outside,'' said Ljungberg.
Sweden end their group fixtures against England on June 20.
