Municipal councillor son dies in grenade blast in north Kashmir

Baramulla, June 12 (UNI) An eleven-year-old son of a municipal councillor was killed in a grenade blast in north Kashmir, official sources said today.

They said unidentified militants hurled a hand grenade towards the house of Abdul Rashid Sofi, a Municipal Councillor, at Bandipora late last night. It exploded in the compound resulting in serious injuries to Ibrar Sofi.

They said Ibrar was admitted to hospital where he died this morning.
