Jammu, June 12 (UNI) Condemning the grenade attacks on innocent people at a bus stand here, the Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) has demanded an inquiry from central agency to expose the elements behind the act of violence.

JKNPP Chairman Bhim Singh, addressing media persons, accused the state government of failing in its prime duty of protecting life and property of people in the state and asked the government to find out who is responsible for the attack.

One person died and 26 other injured in the three grenade explosions that took place at a bus stand here this morning.

Professor Singh said any law enacted by Parliament at present is not applicable on J&K and suggested the Centre to amend the Article 370 of the Constitution, which would help the Centre tackle the Kashmir issue.
