FIR against OGP MLA for his outburst against Orissa CM

Balasore, Jun 12 (UNI) Former BJP MLA Jeeban Pradip Dash has lodged an FIR with the town police against sitting Balasore sadar MLA Arun Dey for his alleged outburst against Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, his Council of Ministers and the state Chief Secretary.

Mr Dash said the statement of Mr.Dey published in a language daily was a clear indication of criminal conspiracy for murder of the Chief minister,minister and the Chief secretary.

He further said the statement given by the Orissa Gana Parishad (OGP) MLA was inflammatory, provocative and will encourage Maoist outfits to commit the offence.

The former BJP MLA also alleged that the Balasore sadar MLA was hand in gloves with the banned Maoist organisation in the state and must be planning to take the lives of Chief Minister and other Ministers.

Mr Dash, who lodged the FIR with the town police station, later told newsmen that his party would wait for 24 hours for police to take action on the basis of the FIR and then chalk out the next course of action.

When contacted the Inspector In charge of Town police station said he was examining into all aspects and the allegations leveled against the sitting MLA.

Meanwhile, the BJD District president Jajati Das too lodged an FIR against Mr Dey for his statement published in a language daily and demanded action against him.
