Eight Bihari labourers killed, five injured in Anantnag
Srinagar, Jun 12 (UNI) At least eight Bihari labourers were killed and five wounded when unidentified gunmen opened fire at Badroo village in Anantnag this afternoon.
Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) for South Kashmir N K Lohia told UNI a group of gunmen attacked Bihari labourers at village Badroo which resulted in the on spot death of eight labourers and injuries to five others.
Mr Lohia said a police patrol party immediately cordoned off the area where the militants are reportedly still holed up.
