Bomb hoax in Rajdhani Express at Margao railway station

Panaji, June 12 (UNI) A hoax call that a bomb was planted in the Trivandrum-bound Rajdhani express from New Delhi on its arrival at Margao railway station here today triggered alarm.

The Bomb disposal squad of the Goa police, assisted by the Railway Protection Force, searched the train this afternoon.

However, the police did not find any explosive in the train and it left for its destination after a delay of about half an hour, railway sources said.

The police undertook a similar exercise yesterday at Varodara and Vasai Road railway stations following bomb hoax calls.
