IAT, RichFeel and MET colleges to promote trichology

Mumbai, June 11 (UNI) The International Association of Trichologists (IAT), Australia, RichFeel group of companies and MET league of colleges have come together to provide professional qualification in trichology.

According to trichologist Dr Apoorva Shah, ''Normally a person would consult a hair dresser for hair problems, which is only cosmetic. Whereas a trichologist can actually reveal details that would help the client overcome the problem much faster.'' ''Trichology offers tremendous scope for growth in India. As the application and use of trichology is much more than just cosmetic.

MET RichFeel Institute of Trichology will open a new avenue in higher education,'' educationist Sunil Karve said.

Also, IAT Director Dr David Salinger said, there is a growing awareness about trichology, a detailed mineral analysis of hair and hair imbalances in the body, and more people want to be treated for their particular hair condition.

According to the association, although there are only a small number of people working in this occupation, there is an increasing potential for employment growth.
