Guj Energy Min to participate in 'Global Petro Show' in Canada

Ahmedabad, June 11 (UNI) Gujarat Engergy Minister Saurabh Patel today left for Canada for a week to participate in 'Global Petro Show' to be held there on June 15.

During this show Mr Patel will present the detail papers before the petroleum experts on the last week's gas-oil findings in Krishna-Godawari basin by the state government-owned Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation (GSPC), a release issued here today said.

Last week, the GSPC have found 4.2 Millions of Standard Cubic Feet per Day (measure of gas produced in a reservoir) (MMSCFD) gas and oil capacity of 862 barrel per day.

Last year, after successful drilling about 20 Trillion Cubic Feet (TCF) gas-oil quota was found from the Dindayal Block of the Krishna-Godawari basin by the engineers of the GSPC, the release added.
