Ten School children fell ill after consuming Mid-day meal

Mysore, June 10 (UNI) Ten school children of a Primary School in Doora Village, near here, took ill due to suspected food poisoning today.

Police said that the children started vomiting after eating Mid-day meal at the school and they were shifted to K R Hospital here.

Nine children were treated as outpatients and one admitted to the hospital.

The School has strength of 280 and nearly 100 had taken their meal in the first batch when the school authorities found a lizard in the food and immediately stopped serving and the quick action saved other children being affected.

Hospital sources said that all the children were out of danger and nothing serious.
