Scindia warns to intensify agitation against power crisis

Guna, MP, June 10 (UNI) Congress Parliamentarian Jyotiraditya Scindia has warned to take the public agitation against power crisis in Shadora area in this district to streets.

Mr Scindia, while addressing agitationists during three-hour-long 'chakkajam' at Guna's Shadora Vidhan Sabha headquarters yesterday, said he will also participate in the agitation, which would be taken to the state capital if required.

People had blocked the Guna Ashoknagar road yesterday to protest almost 16-hour power outage everyday in the region since the past few days.

The agitation was postponed after assurance from Mr Scindia.

Additional police force has been deployed in view of the agitation.

The Guna MP said the BJP had broken its promise to people by not ending power crisis.
