Pakistan May trade deficit widens to $1.159 bln
ISLAMABAD, June 10 (Reuters) Pakistan's trade deficit widened to a provisional .159 billion in May from 7.9 million in April and 1.6 million in May 2005, official data showed on Saturday.
The cumulative trade deficit for the July-May period was .63 billion against .50 billion a year earlier, the data from the Federal Bureau of Statistics showed.
In the 2004/05 fiscal year (July-June), Pakistan's trade deficit was .213 billion, almost double the .278 billion posted in the preceding fiscal year.
