Nivedita Mane is elected KDCC Bank chairman

Kolhapur, June 9 (UNI) MP Nivedita Mane and Raju Jayant Awale were today elected unopposed as the chairman and deputy chairman respectively of the Kolhapur District Central Co-operative (KDCC) bank here.

Ms Mane belonges to the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), while Mr Awale to the Congress.

Of the 28 member board of director, six were elected unopposed, for the remaining 22 seats the elections were held on April two.

Since the matter over the voters' list was in court the counting of votes was pending, which was later cleared by Supreme Court following which the counting was held on May 22 in which ruling the NCP retained its hold by winning majority seats.
