England midfielder Lampard named Man of the Match

BERLIN, June 10 (Reuters) England midfielder Frank Lampard was voted Man of the Match by FIFA's Technical Study Group for his performance in his side's 1-0 win over Paraguay in their opening Group B match today.

Although he did not score he had two long-range shots in the second half that forced Paraguay's substitute goalkeeper Aldo Bobadilla to make two fine saves.
