Samui, Thailand, June 10 (UNI) Overpar finishes notwithstanding, both SSP Chowrasia and Digvijay Singh stayed in hunt for a top 10 finish after the penultimate round of the Bangkok Airways Open here today.

Chowrasia found windy conditions tough to handle and returned a three over 74 card to aggregate five over 218. At tied 13th spot, he still leads the Indian challenge but is 10 strokes off the leader Lu Wen-teh of Taiwan.

Meanwhile, Digvijay Singh's one over 72 today was best among the Indians and had he not fumbled in the back nine, he would have been better placed than his tied 20th with seven over 220 in three rounds.

Amandeep Johl also returned an identical card and jumped 28 spots to tied 31st with a total of 10 overs 233.

The trio of Amritender Singh, Gaurav Ghei and Uttam Singh Mundy, are at tied 37th spot with 11 over 224 each, while Jaiveer Virk returned a nightmarish 13 over card to find himself at 70th spot.
