APLOA to participate in one-day strike on June 13

Vijayawada, June 10 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh Lorry Owners Association (APLOA) today said it will participate in the one-day strike called by the All India Motor Transport Congress (AIMTC) on June 13 to protest the hike in prices of petrol and diesel.

Talking to UNI, APLOA general secretary M V Subba Rao said that about three lakh commercial vehicles in the state would go off the roads on June 13.

He said that on June 12, the lorry owners would hold demonstrations at sub-collector's offices and all mandal revenue offices.

A memorandum will be submitted to the sub-collectors and mandal revenue officers demanding a rollback in petrol prices.
