Tension in B'lore following stone pelting incident

Bangalore, Jun 9 (UNI) Three persons were injured and several vehicles damaged when rival communities indulged in stone pelting at Tilak Nagar, a communally sensitive area, here today.

Police sources said violence erupted following rumours that a girl belonging to a particular community was abducted by her lover from the other community.

The situation in the area was tense, but under control following the intervention of police, they said, adding that adequate police force had been posted.
