Stamp duty relaxation for entrepreneurs in Moradabad SEZ

Lucknow, June 9 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh will grant relaxation in stamp duty to entrepreneurs under Section 35 of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899 in the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) of Moradabad.

The relaxation will be provided on ''pattas'' executed in favour of any entrepreneur by any developer of any industrial plot or standard design factory at the SEZ processing area.

According to information received from the institutional finance tax and registration department, the remit of stamp duty, however, will be subject to condition.

The application needs to be submitted with a valid letter of permission issued by the Development Commissioner, Union Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

Additionally, the developer/co-developer would not execute a deed of conveyance of land in favour of any person.
