Oriental Bank is ranked fourth among nationalised banks
New Delhi, June 9 (UNI) The Oriental Bank of Commerce (OBC) is ranked fourth among nationalised banks in the country with regard to net profit which amounted to Rs 803 crore in 2005-06, its Chairman and Managing Director K N Prithviraj said here today.
He was addressing the Annual General meeting of the bank, which, among other things, discussed annual financial results for the period ending March 2006.
Mr Prithviraj declared 45 per cent dividend (15 per cent higher than last year) to be paid to the share holders on the basis of record date fixed by the bank.
The bank showed improved performance in respect of various parameters, including productivity per employee, which is now the highest in the banking industry, he said.
