Malaysia tourism launches 'One Perfect Price' package for Rs 17,777

New Delhi, Jun 9 (UNI) Offering a splashing respite to people, wanting a break from the scorching Indian summers, Tourism Malaysia today launched a special 'One Perfect Price' land and cruise package for Rs 17,777 per person.

The 7Days/6Nights package includes 2 Nights in Kula Lumpur, 2 Nights on on Star Cruise-SuperStar Virgo and 2 Nights in Singapore.

The package, would include accommodation on twin sharing basis with breakfast, half day city tour in both Kuala Lumpur and Singapore and airport transfers on SIC basis, and will be valid till September, 2006.

Commenting on the launch, Tourism Malaysia Director Manoharan said, ''This package was in great demand last year among the Free Individual Travelers (FIT), and this year we expect higher bookings from not only the leisure segment but also from the Indian corporate sector for their incentive movements. This package is based on the theory of promoting 'twin destinations' pioneered in the Indian market three years back by us.'' This package comes at a time when the Malaysian arrivals from India have shown a remarkable growth of over 30 per cent in the year ending 2005, with over 225,000 Indian arrivals.

The air travel is not incorporated in the package due to the dynamic south ward trend of the airfares and to allow the traveller the liberty of choosing his preferred airline.

This move would provide the much needed push to the tourism in the South East Asia region.
