Industrialist donates ten kg gold armour to TTD

Tirumala, Andhra Pradesh, Jun 9 (UNI) A Chennai-based industrialist has donated gold-plated armour ('kavacham') to Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD).

Weighing ten kg, the armour will be used on Sri Malayappaswami (the processional deity of Lord Sri Venkateswara) on the concluding day of the ''Abhideyaka Abhishekam,'' TTD sources said here today.

The identity of the donor was not revealed.
