Heavy Industries Secretary elected as ICPE Slovania

New Delhi, June 9 (UNI) Secretary, Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises Priyadarshi Thakur was today elected unanimously for the post of Director General, International Center for Promotion of Enterprises (ICPE) Ljubjana Slovania, with effect from October 2006.

Mr Thakur will hold the post for four years from October one. The Indian nominee has been elected to the post after a four year gap.

ICPE is mandated to promote the support enterprise development in the developing and transitional economies with the view of fostering their economic development in the regional and global context.
