Court rejects bail plea of DA case accused

Patna, Jun 09 (UNI) Special CBI judge of Patna Jawahar Prasad Ratnesh today rejected the anticipatory bail petition of a lady, an accused in a disproportionate assets (DA) case.

The accused is the wife of B.Hansdak, a senior accounts officer in the office of Principal General Manager, Telecom (PGMT), Patna, of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL).

According to the charges, Mr Hansdak had amassed wealth of over Rs 1.71 crore which appeared to be disproportionate to his all known sources of income from 1977 to 2004 and Ms Soren abated her husband in this crime.

A relative of Mr Hansdak, former MLA Chatrapati Shahi Munda, is also an accused in the case.

CBI had already submitted chargesheet in the case against all the three accused.
