China gives nod to Bank of China domestic IPO

BEIJING, June 9 (Reuters) China's securities regulator has given the go-ahead to Bank of China's initial public offering on the domestic stock market.

''Bank of China's IPO has been approved,'' the China Securities Regulatory Commission said in a notice on its Web site (www.csrc.gov.cn).

It provided no other details.
