Brother-in-law of Subhash Yadav remanded to judicial custody

Gaya (Bihar), Jun 9 (UNI) Pappu Yadav alias Pankaj, who had surrendered before the Patnas Gardanibagh police station yesterday, was remanded to the judicial custody for 14 days by the Chief Judicial Magistrate of Gaya today.

After the pronouncement of the judgement, Mr Yadav was sent to the Gaya Central Jail.

Pappu Yadav was wanted in connection with kidnapping of Atul Prakash, who was abducted while he was being brought to Patna from Gujarat in police custody in 2004. A case was registered with the Town police station in Gaya in this connection.
