Watersports in Kashmir's Dal Lake

Srinagar, June 8 (UNI) A seven-day watersports events will be held in the world famous Dal Lake here from June 14.

The events would be organised by the Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Department.

Announcing this here, Director Tourism Farooq Ahmad Shah said events such as water skiing, kayaking, eskimo roll, rafting, canoeing and an open race will be held in the Dal Lake during the seven days.

The emphasis would be on training the local youth in rafting, kayaking and water skiing, he added.
