Sugar prices south bound on thin demand by local dealers

Navi Mumbai, June 8 (UNI) Sugar prices drifted lower on poor buying support by local bulk consumers in the face of comfortable stocks supply from mills, traders here said.

Following were the sugar spot rates per quintal: Small grade Rs 1,897/1,928, medium grade Rs 1,915/1,900.

Ex-mill small grade Rs 1,880/1900 and medium grade Rs 1,900/1,935.
