Punjab and Sind Bank trials for hockey academies

Chandigarh, June 8 (UNI) Punjab and Sind Bank will conduct fresh selection trials on June 15 and 16 at the Olympian Surjit Hockey Stadium Burlton Park in Jalandhar to induct new faces into the Bank's junior and sub-junior hockey academies, Surinderpal Singh Bains, Zonal Manager of the Bank here said today.

He said the players in the age group of 12 to 15 would be inducted into the Bank's Sub-Junior Academy. The players in the age group of 15 to 18 will be inducted through selection trials in the main hockey academy.

A number of prominent Olympians will be on the selection panel during the trials.
