Newly elected councillors to take oath tomorrow

Imphal, June 8 (UNI) The newly elected councillors of the Imphal Municipal council (IMC) will take oath tomorrow.

The Congress had won 16 seats out of 27 wards in the elections held on May 31 last. The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) has four members.

A Jibanlata, who was elected for the third consecutive time, was the front runner for the post of Chairperson.
