Lions Club Award presented to Manmohan Singh

New Delhi, June 8 : The International Association of Lions Club today presented the Country Head Award 2005-06 to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, the second recipient since late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.

Dr Ashok Mehta, president of the Association, gave away the award at a function here.

The honour is bestowed by the International Association of Lions Club on heads of state or government for their contribution to humanitarian causes and betterment of society.
