IMImobile 'downloads' soccer World Cup official melody

Hyderabad, Jun 8 (UNI) The IMImobile, a leading global end-to-end mobile value added services enabler, has bagged the distribution rights for 'The Official Melody of the 2006 Federation of International Football Association (FIFA)World Cup' to over 90 million mobile subscribers in over 17 countries in India, Middle East and Africa.

IMImobile signed a licence agreement with the London-based Kobalt Music Publishing Limited, which holds the copyright for the official melody, a company press release here today said quoting Company Vice President (Marketing and Sales) Bibhu Kumar.

He said IMImobile would offer the full range of mobile download content of the official melody in the form of mono/poly/true/caller ring back tones.

The official melody of the World Cup was one of the examples of how music, combined with such mega sports, could help draw an even wider fan base and increase the event's popularity, he said.
