Mumbai, June 8 (UNI) Even as the excitement reaches fever pitch with the first match of the World Cup football tournament in Germany just tomorrow the Indians will be treated to their own opening match when the 'Dabbawallahs' will take on the 'Boys of Brazil', an amateur street football team.

'Dabbawallahs' which symbolise Mumbai more than anyone else have been chosen for the match by Nokia, the event sponsor.

In what is expected to be biggest mismatch, and hopefully the greatest upset, Mumbai's 'Dabbawallahs' will take on the Brazilian team at the Kamla Mills compound in Lower Parel at 1400 hrs.

The Dabbawallah's are practising in all earnest and what they lack in skill they would make up for with their passion for the game.

The team which started practising in earnest after getting a green signal from president of the Dabbawallah Association Raghunath Medge, would be selected later today.

Sanjay Ghag (21) one of the dabbawallahs hoping to make the team, said, ''The Boys from Brazil may be great players, but we too have great stamina from delivering tiffins day in and day out. We will make up for our lack of skill with determination.'' Another dabbawallah Balu Shinde (21) also echoed similar sentiments stating that ''We may not be great footballers, but the spirit of Mumbai's dabbawallas will definitely be on display.'' The event, Defend Your Turf, has been organised to popularise street football in India.
