CRPF DG expresses sorrow over Everestor's death

New Delhi, June 8 (UNI) Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Director General J K Sinha today expressed sorrow over the death of the force's first Everestor Constable Srikrishan in a mishap at the mountain on May 14.

Part of an ITBP expedition which scaled the world's highest peak, Srikrishan climbed but while descending he slipped and fell down a steep slope.

''While we are proud that this brave sportsman created history for CRPF, we are also deeply saddened by the tragic accident,'' Mr Sinha said expressing his condolances to the family.
