CPI(M) to hold massive rally on June 13 to protest petrol price hike

New Delhi, Jun 8 (UNI) The Left parties will hold a massive rally at Parliament Street on June 13 to protest the rise in prices of petroleum Products and put pressure on the Centre to rescind the hike in prices of Petrol and diesel.

Representatives of the Delhi State committee of the CPI(M), CPI, RSP, All India Forward Bloc, Rashtriya Lok Dal and Janata Dal (Secular) will march to Parliament from Copernicus Marg on June 13, the Delhi state committee of the CPI(M) said in a release.

The Left parties are of the firm opinion that by reducing the duty levied on petrol and diesel, which are 57 per cent and 36 per cent respectively of the current prices, the prices could be rather reduced.
