Chirag Kumar leads South India Amateur Golf Championship
Bangalore, June 8(UNI) Chirag Kumar brought in a card of three-over 73 to continue to lead at four-under 206 at the South India Amateur Golf Championship here toay.
He is closely followed by Manav Jaini and Shaurya Singh, who were both tied for the second position with a three-day tally of two-under 208.
Jaini shot one-under 69, while Shaurya Singh, who led on the opening day, shot a level par. Meanwhile, Anirban Lahiri, who was placed second overnight, shot a three-over 73 to slip to the fourth position with a three-day tally of 209.
Three-time Sri Lankan amateur winner Simarjeet Singh bounced back in style with a round of 68. He was placed sixth with a tally of 211, just a stroke adrift of his brother Jasjeet, who was lying in fifth spot with 210.
On a day that saw only four sub-par scores, Raj Randhawa shot the day's best round of three-under 67 for a three-day tally of 222 and was placed at tied 13th position.
