Call rates trade flat at 5.5-5.6 percent; Bonds subdued
Mumbai, June 8 (UNI) Call rates today traded flat in the range of 5.5 -5.60 per cent on account of strong liquidity flow in the market.
RBI in the call money market transacted Rs 9,280.11 crore at the weighted average rate of 5.55 per cent.
In the first Liquidity adjustment RBI transacted Rs 27,140 crore through 31 bids.
RBI did not inject any money through the repo-auction.
Earlier, RBI had fixed the reference rate for today at Rs 46.06/US Dollar.
Gilts, performance was subdued for the day. The eleven year Bond traded at Rs 101.75, which gave a yield of 7.82, unchanged from the previous rate.
