Azad consults J
Srinagar, June 8 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minster Ghulam Nabi Azad today began consultations with political parties on forming the five-working groups as announced by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh at the end of the second round-table conference here on May 25.
In this regard, Mr Azad held wide-ranging discussions with former Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) President Mehbooba Mufti today.
Mr Azad will tomorrow meet National Conference (NC) President Omar Abdullah.
In his two-and-a-half hour meeting, Mr Azad discussed with them various issues regarding the follow up of decisions taken in the Srinagar round-table conference.
They also discussed in detail the nomination of the members for the five working groups.
At the meeting, various other political and development issues were also discussed.
Mr Azad informed them about his series of meetings with the Prime Minister, UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi, Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil on the issue.
