Another Nigerian arrested with drugs: police

New Delhi, June 8 (UNI) Another Nigerian national has been arrested with narcotic drugs in the capital, police said.

Albert Mashaba alias Tony was nabbed with 22 grams of cocaine from a bus stand near his Katwaria Sarai home last evening, police said in a statement.

A case under section 21 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act was registered against him.

The accused, identified as a resident of Lagos, Nigeria, was staying in Delhi on a fake visa and used to supply drugs to parties in the capital, it added.

A few other Nigerian nationals have also been arrested under the NDPS Act ever since the Rahul Mahajan-Bibek Moitra drugs abuse case brought the issue to centrestage of public debate earlier this month.
