Traffic police allows trucks to ply at five busy roads
New Delhi, Jun 7 (UNI) Even as steps are afoot to de-congest the national capital, the traffic police will allow trucks and lorries to ply and park in five busy roads in the city.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (traffic) L V Prasad issued an order superseding an earlier order prohibiting HGVs and MGVs in such roads 24 hours.
Now the prohibition would only apply between 0730 hrs to 1100 hrs and then between 1700 hrs to 2300 hrs.
However, prohibition for five other roads would continue and such vehicles would not be allowed to ply or park 24 hours.
