Person dies as house catches fire in Shahdara

New Delhi, June 7 (UNI) One person was killed after a house caught fire in the Shahdara area this afternoon.

One 35-year-old Gauri Shankar died after a house in Bholanath Nagar in Shahdara caught fire at 1347 hours today, fire brigade sources said.

Two fire tenders were rushed to put out the blaze which occured after some household equipment caught fire.

Though there was not much damage to the house, Gauri Shankar died in the fire, they said.
