City Union Bank declares 40 pc dividend for FY06

Mumbai, June 7 (UNI) City Union Bank Ltd has recommended a dividend at 40 per cent on the equity shares for the financial year 2005-2006.

Informing BSE, the bank said the net profit increased by 21.65 per cent from Rs 46.31 crore to Rs 56.37 crore. This resulted into an increase in EPS from Rs 19.30 to Rs 23.49. It registered a growth of 14.39 per cent in its total income for the FY06 over previous year FY05 from Rs 324.10 crore to Rs 370.74 crore.

The dividend remained unchanged at 40 per cent for FY06, compared with last year.
