BJP, Samajwadi Party hold protests against fuel price hike
Mumbai, June 7 (UNI) BJP Maharashtra unit today organised agaitations against the hike in the prices of petrol and diesel at 135 places across the state.
A release issued by BJP General Secretary Vinod Tavade said people spontenously responded to the agitation at all the places.
The party had organised demonstrations in front of Petroleum House yesterday, while today, it resorted to 'rasta roko' at several places including Pune, Washim, Pusad and other places.
Meanwhile, the Samajwadi party also organised demonstrations at Azad Maidan in south Mumbai under the leadership of state President Abu Asim Azmi today against the price hike.
