BJP demands rollback of petroleum hike in Meghalaya
Shillong, Jun 7 (UNI) The BJP in Meghalaya today demonstrated in front of the party office demanding immediate rollback of fuel price hike.
At least 100 BJP activists, under the leadership of state BJP president Alexander Hek, raised slogans denouncing the ruling Congres-led UPA government for the price hike.
Alleging that the fuel prices were hiked several times during the present regime, Mr Hek said the party would not go to the masses to garner their support.
BJP leaders would visit all the district headquarters in the state to address the issue in future.
